Monument record TQ 75 SE 435 - Probable iron age / Romano-British agricultural features, Bicknor

Summary

In March 2019 an archaeological evaluation was carried out consisting of 48 trial trenches. Ditches, pits and post holes consistent with the use of the landscape for agricultural purposes were found together with a 'trample layer'. Dating evidence suggested a late iron age or Romano-British date. No domestic structures were identified.
