There was not much by the way of archaeological evidence for this site, with the exception of six pits tentatively dating to the Later prehistoric to Late Iron Age/Early Roman and a drainage ditch running Northeast-Southwest, likely to be Roman in date although this is uncertain due to a lack of dating evidence. The drainage ditch measured over 5.6m in length, 0.7 m wide, and 0.27 m deep and contained three sherds of pottery, two prehistoric in date, one Roman.

Four of the pits contained a mixture of late prehistoric pottery and Late Iron Age/Early Roman pottery indicating that the features dated from the Late Iron Age/Early Roman period with potential residual sherds of Late prehistoric pottery. One pit contained Late prehistoric pottery, so it is possible that this can be dated to then.
Two of the pits seemed to be Roman in date due to the presence of Roman pottery, but also contained pottery from the late prehistoric and Late Iron Age/Early Roman - which may suggest the presence of residual finds.

All of the pits were sub-circular/sub-oval in shape and varied in size, ranging from 0.46 to 4.14m in length by 0.45 to 1.90m in width and up to 0.46m in depth.

Fifteen further features were investigated but have been interpreted as natural features such as tree throw holes, bioturbation and rooting. (1)
