Summary
During an archaeological evaluation carried out at Manston Green, the most prolific period of activity appears to date to the late Iron Age and early Romano-British periods. 16 of the 43 trenches revealed featurres dating to this period, the features include pits, ditches/gullies, post holes and possible quarries. These features relate to activity in the fileds adjacent to this. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
