Summary
During an archaeological evaluation carried out at Manston business Park, features were discovered in many of the evaluation trenches. These features almost exclusively comprised linear ditches, and are presumably representative of a co-axial field system. Some of the ditches were curvilinear and may have formed parts of enclosures. One gully may have been part of a drip gully for a round house. Some of the features were associated with flintwork and pottery dating the the Later Prehistoric period but many of them remained undated. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
