Full Description
A bunker forming part of a ROTOR Station of Cold War date was visible as a structure in RAF/58/742 V 5065 16-JUL-1951. The underground facilities of the ROTOR Station were seen under construction in that aerial photography.
The site was recorded as a demolished structure on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 because it is presumed to be decommissioned and inaccessible, although it is assumed that below-ground features will be present. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
