Full Description

Cropmarks of ditches and pits, possibly of of Iron Age/Roman date was seen as a cropmark and was mapped from aerial photographs: HEA 29754/2 29-JUN-2015 as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. The ditches form a tight hair pin-like feature with two sides of 48m (northern) and 28m (western) with a c.70 degree curved corner - possibly part of an enclosure. Three pits lie in a line north of and parallel to the northern ditch. (1)
