Full Description
Two short, sinuous ditches of possible Iron Age/Roman date were visible as cropmarks in a Kent County Council Isle of Thanet SMR aerial photograph. The aerial photograph is attached to the Isle of Thanet Archaeology Unit record 100 file.
The lengths of ditch may represent parts of the same feature, cut by a Medieval/post-Medieval extractive pit. These features are part of the cropmark complex recorded in MKE7661. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
