An archaeolohgical evaluation carried out in Jun 2019 in advance of residential development found late Bronze Age / early Iron Age and undated ditches, pits, and postholes. The excavators concluded that the features may indicate occupation, rather than just agricultural activity. The features were found in 6 of the trenches in the west-central part of the site.
