An archaeolohgical evaluation carried out in Jun 2019 in advance of residential development found late Bronze Age / early Iron Age and undated ditches, pits, and postholes. The excavators concluded that the features may indicate occupation, rather than just agricultural activity.

Full Description

An archaeolohgical evaluation carried out in Jun 2019 in advance of residential development found late Bronze Age / early Iron Age and undated ditches, pits, and postholes. The excavators concluded that the features may indicate occupation, rather than just agricultural activity. The features were found in 6 of the trenches in the west-central part of the site. The majority produced late Bronze Age / early Iron Age pottery (1)
