Full Description
Late Iron Age to Roman ditches were identified at Woodlands Farm, Calcott during a watching brief in 2014-2015. Two ditches was provisionally dated to the Roman period due to the presence of Roman potery within their fills. One of these features measured around 15m in length, the other measured 0.16-0.20m in depth. These features were thought to relate to rural activity peripheral to a settlement. (1)
