Full Description

Four probable cremations were identified at the site. These were unexcavated and therefore they remain undated. Six ditches were also located during the evaluation alongside a small number of undated pits or possible tree throws. The ditches may have been created as land management features. Several of the pits were demonstrated to contain burnt material and were probably used for waste disposal.
Based on the dates of other features identified at the site, it is likely that many of these undated features originate from the later prehistoric to the Roman period. (1)
