Undated cremations, ditches, and pits were excavated at Bodkin Farm, Whitstable during an evaluation in 2023. Four undated cremations were identified at the site. These were unexcavated and therefore they remain undated. A small number of undated pits or possible tree throws were identified. Environmental sampling of a pit at the site identified charcoal within its fill. Six undated ditches were also identified, some of which may have been land management features.
Other features identified at the site dated from the Bronze Age, Iron Age, and Roman periods, therefore, it is likely that many of these undated features originate from the later prehistoric to the Roman period. (1)
