Full Description
TQ 60756840. A series of pits and ditches containing pottery ranging from AD 150-250 were revealed during building work at View Point, Wellfield. Iron and Bronze artefacts and a sesterius of AD 161 were also obtained and a small oven of tiles was found on top of the ditch fill. A pit at the north of the site contained a quantity of 1st century AD pottery. (1)
