Summary
Timber hurdle, possibly part of a prehistoric trackway identified by the Upchurch Archaeological Group in three separate locations. The remains were fragmentary and mainly of hazel. Flint, bone and rare pottery was also recovered. A track through the marsh is shown on chart of 1835 at this location.

Full Description
Timberwork of poss prehistoric date identified by Upchurch Arch Group (1). Three main locations. Fragmentary remains of round wood hurdle tracks (samples indicate mainly hazel), and other timber structures adjoining. Flint, bone and rare pottery recovered. (2).
Track through marsh shown on chart of 1835 at this location (3).
