Monument record TR 36 NW 370 - Ditch near Manston Airport, Acol
Summary
A V-shaped ditch was found near Manston Airport during a watching brief for work to lay a water pipeline in 1989. Fieldwalking at the site had revealed Romano-British pottery sherds in the area of this ditch It is suspected that the feature may date from this period, although no finds were recorded in the fill. It is not known where these finds are now located.
