Summary
Evidence of a prehistoric settlement was discovered at Queen Elizabeth's School, Faversham. This consisted of a series of large shallow ditches and round post holes as well as pottery dating to 600BC. Another pit or the end of a ditch was found which contained a worked flint and a fire cracked flint and could therefore also be prehistoric.

A series of large pits, shallow ditches and round post-holes were discovered with pottery dating to c.600 BC. (1)
A pit or ditch end was found during test-pitting. It contained a struck flint and a fire-craked flint, and may be of prehistoric date
