Monument record TR 06 SW 192 - Prehistoric settlement, Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Faversham
Summary
Evidence of a prehistoric settlement was discovered at Queen Elizabeth's School, Faversham. This consisted of a series of large shallow ditches and round post holes as well as pottery dating to 600BC. Another pit or the end of a ditch was found which contained a worked flint and a fire cracked flint and could therefore also be prehistoric.
