Summary

Predominantly modern activity found during evaluation in 1997 prior to Channel Tunnel Rail Link works. Archaeological features consisted of a pair of wheel ruts, a trackway and a small pit, all of which were probably post medieval in date. Some early and late Bronze Age pottery was recovered from colluvial deposits within the valley floor, however, they were not in situ and no settlement evidence was recorded
