Full Description
During evaluation trenching the terminus of a small ditch was found close to a small pit. Both contained occasional pebbles, pottery (late 11th or early 12th century AD) and struck flints. There seems to have been little correlation between the results of the earlier geophysical survey and those of the trial trenching.(1- 2)
