Full Description
Numerous metal detecting finds dating from the Iron Age and Roman period have been recovered from this area.
Metal finds from the site have been identified including a lead sealing and pre-Flavian military equipment. (1)
A geophysical survey was carried out in August 1997 to investigate this concentration. It revealed a complex of a ditched trackway, pits, enclosures and possible sunken floored structures. (2)
