Monument record TR 36 NE 480 - A large pit, Copperfield House, Dumpton Park Drive
Summary
A large pit was found at Copperfield House, Dumpton Park Drive, during an evaluation. It was not fully excavated. Only residual flints were found in the excavated portion. Further flints came form the topsoil and subsoil elsewhere on the site. Two fragments of Bronze Age/Iron Age pottery were also found.
