Monument record TQ 87 NW 95 - Cropmarks showing a ring ditch inside enclosure with track way, Allhallows
Summary
Cropmarks of uncertain date comprising a curvilinear enclosure with a large central oblong pit and traces of an outer ditch joined to the inner by two radial ditches. Both of these ditches meet the central enclosure at a tangent, the east-west ditch continuing westwards for 60m. These features were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The cropmark traces of the underlying natural pariglacial structures extend across this and the surrounding fields making identification of archaeological features difficult.
