Full Description
An evaluation to place at Hunter Avenue in 2009, it found a Circular Iron Age pit containing an undisclosed amount of pottery and two E-W aligned linear cuts. (1)
Another archaeological excavation took place in 2009 finding more extensive archaeological features. The features included a number of ditches containing pottery, mainly dating to the middle iron age. Some groups of postholes and a small gully. were also excavated. An oval pit was excavated with quantities of burnt material in the fill suggesting in situ buring had taken place. (2)
