Full Description
Evaluation undertaken by ASE in 2004 at the former Templer and Rowcroft Barracks, Ashford, prior to redevelopment. Prehistoric to modern features were found.
One ditch of probable prehistoric date, and a second of Late Iron Age to Roman date. Also a small pit containing burnt bone, charcoal, and pottery of Late Iron Age to Roman date. These may represent the outer margins of a farmstead. (1)
