Full Description
Evaluation undertaken by Archaeology South-East at Brisley Farm (Phase 9) in 2003.
Ditches, gullies, pits, and post-holes which probably represent the continuation of the Late Iron Age site found to the north. A dense concentration of features in the centre of the evaluation site, possibly representing domestic activity, with less intense activity in the east and west which may represent fields and droveways. Many features were undated, so may relate to earlier features, like the Late Bronze Age field system found to the north. (1)
