Monument record TR 36 NE 169 - Late Iron Age and Roman site, near Manston Court

Summary

Linear markings with resemblance to the layout of a small Roman building appear as cropmarks and soilmarks on the brow of the west facing slope of the Lydden valley and just in from the road. Finds in the immediate area have included several Roman Bronze buckles and small coins, along with features dating to the Late Iron Age and Roman periods.
