Full Description

In 2002 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out an evaluation on the site of Crabble Paper Mill, Dover. Two ditches aligned north-south were found in one trench, along with a pit. The ditches contained animal bone and pottery dated to AD 1050-1225. The pit did not contain any pottery but is probably of similar date. (1)
