Full Description
In 2002 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out an evaluation on the site of Crabble Paper Mill, Dover. This was followed by an excavation. Two pits and a ditch, probably a field boundary, were found and tentatively dated to the early medieval period on the basis of their stratigraphic position above known Roman layers. (1)
