Summary

A linear boundary ditch and rectangular ditched enclosure within which are a number of pits, post holes and storage pits. The pottery removed from the fill of these pits dated to the late bronze - early Iron Age. A smaller rectangular enclosure at the site has also been identified and finds were comparable to the mian enclosure. Ditches, enclosures and pits visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs.

Selected Heritage Inventory for Natural England: A rectangular ditched enclosure extending south-east from the north-west boundary of the field. The part able to be evaulated formed a square of c.55m on each side. Contains late bronze age to early iron age pits, post holes and storage pits
