Full Description
In 1998 Museum of London Archaeology Service carried out an excavation as part of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link project. Over 100 post holes were found, with associated pits and a boundary ditch. These related to at least one building of probable 12th or 13th century date. A slot on at the southern end may mark a threshold entrance. Pottery from the site dated to AD 1050-1225. (1-3)
