Monument record TQ 67 SW 1358 - Small Roman enclosure, Springhead

Summary

During excavations carried out at Springhead in 2007-2008 ahead of the development of the area, a small Roman enclosure was uncovered. The enclosure was square and was located within the northern corner of a Late Iron Age enclosure, the ditches of this Iron Age enclosure had been re cut and modified to create this early Roman enclosure. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
