Full Description
In 2007/8 Wessex Archaeology carried out a programme of works. Eight coins of probable Roman date were found during machining in subsoil contexts. All of these were bandly worn and corroded. Only one could be closely dated, a Barbarous Radiate of the late 3rd century. The others can only be assigned broad date ranges on the basis of the size and from of their flans. (1)
