Full Description
In 2001 Archaeology South-East carried out an excavation. Trackways or droveways were found to cross the northern part of the site. The ditches of these features, and associated other features, produced Middle Bronze Age to Late Iron Age pottery.
Other prehistoric activity in the area included a possible Bronze Age burnt mound and a number of pit/post hole group. (1)
