Full Description
In 2013 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out an evaluation. A ditch was found and thought to be of Late Iron Age or Roman date. A possible pit was also found but could be of natural origin. (1)
A possible Iron Age clay extraction pit is recorded as having been excavated at the site during an excavation in 2013. Prehistoric pottery was recovered from its fill. (2)
