Full Description
In 2013 Wessex Archaeology carried out an evaluation. Bronze Age pottery and animal bones were recovered from a possible tree throw. The pottery was of Mid to Late Bronze Age date. (1)
In 2013 Archaeology South-East carried out an excavation. Two ditches were found, containing Late Bronze Age pottery. Three pits were found in the area, also containing Late Bronze Age pottery. A large tree throw also contained Late Bronze Age pottery. The features were sealed beneath colluvium. (2)
