In 2007 Archaeology South-East carried out a second phase of evaluation on the site. A pit was found with worked flints and sherds of pottery thought to date to the Late Bronze Age. (1)

The site was excavated by Oxford Archaeology in 2009. Further features were found in the area of the previously excavated pit, including a further pit and ditches. These could date to the Late Bronze Age. It is also possible that the Late Bronze Age material is residual and the ditches are of later date. (2-3)
