Full Description
In 2010 a large area was excavated on land to the southeast of the Old Rectory by a team from the University of Reading. A ditch and a pit were found. The pit contained an in situ vessel with several fragments of burnt quernstone within it. Both features were provisionally dated to the Middle Bronze Age. (1)
