Full Description
In 2000/1 the Oxford Archaeological Unit carried out a targeted watching brief (a strip, map and sample excavation) ahead of CTRL works. A post built structure, pits and ditch segments all related to Middle to Late Bronze Age occupation. One of the pits contained Middle Bronze Age pottery and fragments of of a fired clay hearth or oven structure. (1-2)
