Full Description
During the East Kent Access Route excavations (2009-2011) a large late bronze age D-shaped double-ditched enclosure, was found in zone 14. There was little dating evidence but parts of the bronze age enclosure system were cut by early iron age pits. To the west were a number of ditches that contained early iron age pottery and were probably an extension of the iron age activity noted in zone 13. (1)
