During excavations relating to the installation of a pipeline between Margate and Broadstairs between 2005 and 2006 a total of 619 features and a vast assemblage of finds were discovered. A proportion of these were from the Anglo-Saxon and Medieval periods. Note: The large number of features and finds over a very broad geographical area meant mapping accurately where each monument is along the pipeline and classifying monuments chronologically would have led to an unclear number of records. Thus monument mapped as a single linear feature and separated chronologically. Where apporopriate the excavation area where features were located has been recorded.
