Full Description
A recent evaluation (2015) at Glebe Gardens located immediately east of the Site, revealed a ditch of Iron Age date. A probable ditch aligned SW-NE across the east end of the Site contained pottery dating to the late Iron Age. The evaluation also established the presence of an important late glacial to earlier post glacial fluvial deposit at the site which may contain or seal below it prehistoric activity from the Lower Palaeolithic through to the Neolithic periods.
