Full Description
A collection of late Medieval to Post-Medieval features found in Trenches 7 and 9, including post hole 21 in T7, a north-south aligned ditch [25] in T9, and two pits [27] and [29] in T9.
From the report: "The alignment of this feature suggests that is may represent the post-Medieval field boundary between the orchard to the east and the arable land to the west as seen on the 19th century Ordnance Survey maps" (1).
For features in the same area of the site, see EKE15667 and SKE31874 (Archaeological Excavation on Land at Hever Court Road, Gravesend).
