Summary

Four Second World War anti aircraft gun emplacements are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946, though they have been levelled on aerial photographs taken in 1966. The gun emplacements are roughly circular with cross shapes in the centre, and may have been constructed from sandbags. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
