Abstract/Summary
Report on an archaeological watching brief on geotechnical work at Station Road West Car Park, Canterbury, carried out in 2017. The work revealed evidence for a palaeochannel and quarrying (the latter possibly dating to the medieval period). Report indicates possible kiln, roman burials and medieval clay quarrying. Recommends further evaluation through excavation of specified areas and depths.
