Results of an archaeological evaluation undertaken by Canterbury Archaeological Trust on Land north-east of The Length, St Nicholas at Wade, Birchington, Kent, CT7 0PJ. Nine evaluation trenches measuring on average 30m in length, equating to a 5% sample of the land, were excavated across the footprint of the proposed development area. The evaluation revealed a number of archaeological features at shallow depth located across the site.
