Full Description

An archaeological evaluation carried out in 2006 found pits, ditches and postholes suggestive of a timber building fronting Greenhill Road. The features were dated to c. AD 1050 to 1400 on the basis of finds of pottery, roof tile, daub and a quern stone. (1)
