Monument record TR 03 NW 153 - Bronze Age barrow and other features, area 10 (west), Cheeseman's Green

Summary

Strip, map and sample excavations in 2014 found a wide Bronze Age landscape in Area 10 (west). A fairly small number of ditches were present, aligned NW-SE and NE-SW. A probable Bronze Age barrow was found enclosed by a later enclosure. A post-built structure and fence line was also found in the enclosure. A later ditch respected the edge of the barrow and other features were scattered across the area.
