Strip, map and sample excavations in 2014 found a wide Bronze Age landscape in Area 10 (west). A fairly small number of ditches were present, aligned NW-SE and NE-SW. A probable bronze age barrow was found enclosed by a later enclosure. A four post-built structure and fence line was also found in the enclosure. A later ditch respected the edge of the barrow and other features were scattered across the area.

The barrow was 6.5 m in diameter and contained a possible central un-urned cremation containing middle/late bronze age pottery.

The four-post structure had evidence of post burning in-situ and also contained middle bronze age pottery. The excavators suggested on the basis of its proximity to the barrow within the same enclosure, it may have represented an excarnation platform. A line of post holes (possible fence line?) ran between the barrow and the structure.(1)
