Summary
A number of archaeological features identified during excavations at Kingsmeade Park. These included pits, cut features, ditches and post holes; late bronze to mid Iron Age pottery was found in the fill of some of these features. Three cremations found at the site were possibly Romano-British in date, although no firm dating evidence was identified. Unstratified flint flakes were also recovered.
