Full Description
Two Iron Age pits were found during a watching brief as part of the Nashenden Valley works associated with the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (1). Bronze Age pottery is reported as having been found in one pit, with the other being similar in character and so perhaps of similar date. A V-shaped ditch was also found and may also be of similar date. (2)
