Monument record TR 36 NW 1158 - Part of a Roman field system and small group of other features discovered during the East Kent Access Route excavations (2009-2011)

Summary

Part of a Roman field system was discovered within Zone 20 of the excavations associated with the construction of the East Kent Access route in Thanet. This coprised a series of ditches including one which ran for at least 200m along the crest of the hill. Other features including a trackway and a small group of graves were discovered alongside the dithes. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
