Monument record TQ 94 SE 231 - Iron Age ditch and possible Iron Age Round house, Oakland's Farm
Summary
During an archaeological evaluation in August (2014) 12 evaluation trenches were excavated. Along with four other ditches, this evaluation trench (Trench 5) revealed an Iron Age ditch. It is thought that it is associated with an Iron Age roundhouse. The ditch is also associated with a pit, considered a possible internal feature contemporary with the Roundhouse.
