Monument record TQ 75 SW 301 - Pits and a Ditch, possible 18th-19th Century, Heath Road

Summary

During an archaeological evaluation undertaken in October 2015 a total of 18 evaluation trenches were excavated, 5 were found to contain archaeology. Two pits containing burnt material were cut into by a ditch all located in a single evaluation trench (Trench 11). One of the pits and the ditch contained a fill which contained 18th-19th century pottery fragments and undiagnostic clay pipe fragments.
