A number of archaeological features were identified during a magnetometer survey of land at Cliffsend, Near Ramsgate, Kent in March 2016. The results of the survey indicate that the western part of the site contains a number of archaeological features, including at least one enclosure, linear ditches, pits and a possible trackway. The eastern part of the site may also contain features but these are less distinct. The site was later excavated and the features which were seen in the survey were revealed archaeologically and dated to the Bronze Age and Saxon periods.
